Adeniran Olushola Babafemi serves as Technical Director, Drilling & Wells at Naphtali Energy, providing strategic and technical leadership across the company's drilling, workover, intervention, and well engineering operations.
With over 25 years of international experience across the North Sea, Norwegian Sea, Middle East, Asia, and West Africa, Olushola brings deep operational and engineering expertise to complex offshore and onshore drilling environments. He holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Drilling and Well Engineering from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, Scotland, and a Bachelor's degree in Geology & Mineral Resources.
Throughout his career, he has led technically demanding drilling campaigns including HPHT wells, high H₂S sour gas developments, multilateral wells, extended-reach wells, short-radius wells, and offshore jack-up and semi-submersible operations. He has worked with major operators such as Saudi Aramco, SEPLAT, AITEO, Shell, BP, and other international partners, delivering wells safely, efficiently, and within budget.
As Technical Director, Olushola oversees well planning, engineering design, cost estimation, drilling execution strategy, contractor performance management, and compliance with industry best practices. He ensures that all drilling and well operations align with regulatory standards, corporate governance frameworks, and strict HSE requirements.
His leadership reinforces Naphtali Energy's capability in rig management, project execution, and high-performance well delivery. Through structured operational systems, risk management discipline, and continuous performance improvement, he strengthens the company's technical credibility and operational excellence within the marine and oil and gas sector.
